Teacher Style: Demo Lessons

Almost every teacher out there had to teach a demo lesson before getting hired. It can feel incredibly intimidating.  For a demo lesson you want to be comfortable so that you can move around and be natural yet still professional.  Now is not the time to show off big accessories or crazy color.  If you don't have anything appropriate- buy something. It will be worth it.  Remember the industry you're entering. It's not appropriate to wear a skirt suite and sky high heels but it's also not appropriate to wear jeans.  Keep make-up natural and sophisticated.  Remember to bring a pen and paper in case they want to send you with any feedback. ALWAYS wear a watch and use it!
